Tagore is an Indian poet, philosopher, writer, social activist and Indian nationalist. He was the first Indian to win the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1913. In 1878, he went to England to study English literature and Western music. After returning to China in 1880, he specialized in literary activities and won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1913. After that, he visited many European countries, including China, Japan and the Soviet Union.

The Flying Birds Collection includes 325 beautiful Untitled poems, which were first published in 1916. The basic themes of these poems are mostly very common things, such as grass, deciduous leaves, birds, stars, rivers and so on. For more information, refer to screen PPT

The first poem we prepared

The world kisses me with bitterness, but asks me to reward with songs.

The main idea of the poem is: the real world is ruthless, and only after experiencing endless suffering and setbacks can people find the beauty and richness of life, and then know to live positively and optimistically.

The other one is

We read the world wrong and say that it deceives us.

It tells us that the world is objective, developing and vast, while the human race is subjective, stagnant and insignificant. But the truly sad human beings often regard themselves as the center of the world and think that they are the dominant part of the world. The illusion and bubble will be shattered one day, when people really realize their own hours, and feel sorry for their misfortunes, thus resent the world.

Our poetry appreciation is over. Thank you.
