一个充满童心的孩子王~虽然还没有去过迪士尼主题乐园，但是看过了好多迪士尼电影，真的很棒！

1. He waltzed into class and paraded his new pet around the room.

waltz  [wɔːl(t)s; wɒl-] vi. 跳华尔兹舞；旋转；轻快地走动

parade  [pə'reɪd]  v. show sth. in public so that it can be admired(为炫耀而) 展示

eg: Valentino is eager to see celebrities parading his clothes at big occasions.

2. Walt's teacher marched right over, put an end to the mischief, and punished Walt.

march  [mɑːtʃ]  vi. 快步走

eg: He marched into the kitchen without knocking.

put an end to 结束；终止

mischief  ['mɪstʃɪf]  n. 恶作剧,捣乱

3. Walt was also hooked on cigarettes---a terrible habit he never quit.

be hooked on sth 痴迷 ; 非常喜欢

4. Walt Disney was ready to strike out on his own.

strike out  开辟新路

begin to do something different, often because you want to become more independent

5. They spent the day drawing characters, making up jokes, and goofing around with a movie camera.

goof around  消磨时间；随便玩玩

6. Walt Disney was on top of the world when trouble hit the studio again.

7. So why wouldn't they sit through one long animated movie if it was good enough?

8. And what if the film flopped?

10. Roy wasn't wild about the Disneyland idea.

11. The Mickey Mouse Club was another hit for ABC. In every episode there was always a newsreel, a cartoon, and songs and dances performed by a group of young actors called Mouseketeers. The first show aired in 1955.

12. But he dad to disguise himself in a floppy hat and sunglasses or else fans would mob him.
