- 平面直角坐标系 Cartesian coordinates (in a plane or space) – 最常用的
- 极坐标系 Polar coordinates (in a plane)
- 柱面坐标系 Cylindrical coordinates (in a space)
- 球面坐标系 Spherical coordinates (in a space)
