问题

• Unable to set up a graphical KDE install with the latest Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.6 ISO.
• KDE Desktop packages are not found in RHEL 7.6 and above.

决议

• As of RHEL 7.6, KDE is no longer being offered. Quoting the release notes:

KDE has been deprecated
KDE Plasma Workspaces (KDE), which has been provided as an alternative to the default GNOME desktop environment has been deprecated. A future major release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux will no longer support using KDE instead of the default GNOME desktop environment. 

• Note : This doesn't imply that all the RHEL 7 KDE packages (release in 7.5 and older releases) would now be unsupported. The older releases would be still supported till RHEL 7 support lifecycle, bug and security fixes would go in as and when made available.
