回到正题！敲黑板注意啦！

ETS宣布：8月1日起，托福拼分(MyBest score)将变为可能。

托福拼分的意思是，允许参加多次托福考试的同学，选取自己在两年成绩有效期内的听、说、读、写各单科分数自由组合，拼出个人最好成绩。托福拼分也被成为托福最好成绩，或托福超级分数(superscore)。

有小伙伴疑问什么是拼分。

    根据官方公布时间，2019年8月1日之后，同学们都可以选择收到自己最好成绩的报告单。

那么，托福有没有考试次数限制呢?托福考生一年最多能考几次考试?

托福考试目前没有托福考试次数的限制，但同一考生两次托福考试最短间隔为12天。ETS预计随着托福拼分的出现，托福考生的人均考试次数将有所下降。

Superscoring standardized test scores is an increasingly popular practice in university admissions. ETS surveyed hundreds of institutions that receive TOEFL scores, and the results showed that, when given the choice, they prefer receiving MyBest scores in addition to scores from a single test date, over either set of scores alone.

We reviewed the research in the field on the practice of superscoring and did our own study on the use of MyBest scores. Both show that MyBest scores are a valid measure of English abilities, comparable to the validity of scores from a single test date.

Using MyBest scores provides institutions and students with more options than before. Institutions may find that when students are able to show their best performance, more talented students will be able to meet admissions requirements. If a school reports on their website that they are using MyBest scores, more students may decide to apply. Having more applications allows institutions to select those students who are the best fit.
