Where to store duck tapes during hikes?

Duck tapes can be useful during hikes, for example, fixing your leaking water bladder, or putting on feet to avoid blisters. However, storing a big roll in the backpack is not an ideal option. So where to store it during hikes?

The most common idea I learned from other hikers is to roll some up onto the trekking poles. That way, it's easy to access when needed and does not take up extra space at all!

If you don't use poles during jikes, another place I can think of is putting it onto water bottles. Not ideal if it interrupts the way you hold the bottle though. Try different ways to make it work.

Any other ideas on where to store duck takes during hikes?
