across与over的区别

1. across 通常指从一定范围的一边到另一边，且在物体表面上或沿着某一条线的方向，

• walk across the street
  穿过街道

• The baby crawled across the room.
  婴儿爬到了房间那边。

2. over 通常指表示到达高的障碍物（河流、围墙、篱笆等）的另一侧，从上面跳过/跨过/翻过，

• jump over the fence
  跳过篱笆
• The airplane is flying over the river.
  飞机正从河上飞过。

beside 在旁边;

near于beside的区别

1. near多指空间、时间上的距离。

• There's a river near our house.
  我家附近有条河。

• It is near dinner time.
  快到吃饭时间了。

2. beside多指空间上的距离。

• There's a river beside our house.
  我家旁边有条河。

• Don't play beside the road.
  不要在路边玩

3. near形容的距离一般比beside形容的远。

• There's a river near our house.
  我家附近有条河。

• There's a river beside our house.
  我家旁边有条河。
