1. Start (noun) an act of moving your body quickly and suddenly because you are surprised, afraid etc.

E.g. My pet gave me a quiet start.

(Verb) to move quickly and suddenly because you are surprised, afraid

E.g The ringing of door bell made her start.

2. Be for/in good cause 做好事，行善

E.g. The girl who saves stray dogs is in good cause.

3. Carry a torch for sb 暗恋（单相思）

E.g. He carries a torch for his best friend's wife.

4. Raise 筹款

E.g. We are raising money for stray dogs.
