Life Is So Energetic!

From the new year on, I've been preparing for the language test on Feb 18 with every effort. Sorry for my silence these days, it's because I'm learning to get down to business, eventually. Until yesterday, my first round battle has drawn a full stop, which may not be that perfect, but above all I have nothing to regret.

Having experienced so much, I decided to make some essential change in my life environment and pace. Ling and Kam (Jenny) are two ladies who I've learnt with honour. They are always so friendly, helpful and considerate. And most importantly, they genuinely encourage me to take every chance to practice English. So after getting their consent, I'm moving to their place from this March on and I'll give my best to make it a wonderful and unforgettable experience.

Also, with improving English skills as the priority mission, I may attend a language school after completing my current casual job at the clinic. The time is running out and every moment is supposed to be valued seriously. The coming preparation course at the language school will be combined with the practice course at the church. Thanks Sister & Elder Hayley, who've supported me so much in correcting my poor grammar and soothing my nervous tension.

Today, after the morning reading in the community yard, I took an early bus to downtown to have a relax. Although it's a shame that my expected Japanese restaurant was closed today, I, being a 100% pure foodie, was very responsible for my stomach. After roaming around for a while, I ended up eating at a Korean restaurant located in a hidden alley. The taste was terrific and I even ordered a takeaway kimchi pancake before going to the Sea Life Aquarium. This turned out to bring me not a little inconvenience, as the scent was so strong (even when it was packed in my backpack) that everyone passed would look me with a weird eyesight...Anyway, it won't attract the sharks, OK?

After the visit, I took the ferries at the Darling Harbour back to Parramatta. It was not a very big ship, but big enough to accommodate dozens of passengers and the breeze on the deck of the vessel was so refreshing and energetic! I enjoyed myself so much until I suddenly found out that the ship was actually heading back to Darling Harbour! What the what? It turned out that there are various kinds of sailing distance regarding the Parramatta route and the one I've taken didn't go to Parramatta as the final stop. Poor me... However, thinking from another perspective, it was kind of Sunday extra perk, and after all, it impressed me a lot during my first trip taking ferries in Australia.
