Unconditional Parenting

This book has a very special opinion about parenting children, compared with others. I think some of us may think it is ridiculous when first saw the words” unconditional”, of course we will love our kids unconditional , it is meaningless to talk about it.

However, do we really love and parent our children unconditional? Do we ever told them that” If you do that thing again, I won’t love you any more” or do you ever keep your kids in his/her room (“need some space”) when they do something annoy you? And I think most of us will say “You’re a good boy /girl to do XXX”. With the opinion of the book, all action or words as above are conditional. No matter you accept or not, what matters in the parenting is whether your kids feel your love is unconditional or not, but not what you think it is unconditional or not.

With this book, we can acquire many useful methods to parent unconditional, all in order to let our kids to live a happy life and to be a health (both mental and physics). But in my point of view, it is not easy make those methods into reality all the time, as we may sometimes lose control and it is easy to overage.

All in all, we should have a look at this book, and self- examinate when parenting our kids.
