Progress

My son has studied in primary school for approximate 2 months. After 2 month's training, he is starting to adapt to the pace and atmosphere. He got several progresses in the new school.

  1. He becomes more and more self-disciplined.

In the beginning, because of homework, the time in the night became tight. There are different homework for different subjects. Especially, he needed to make a sound record of English and send it to the QQ group. Honestly, this not only the homework for a kid, but also the job for parents. After finishing homework, my son likes to play with me. But the time is limited after finishing the homework. The expected sleeping time was 9:30, but actually, he struggled to the bed until 10:00. The consequence was that he couldn't wake up in time.

After adjusting again and again, he can obey the rules we formulated. he can wake up and sleep in time. That's a good beginning.

  1. He can focus on one thing for a long time.

Every morning, we have about 15 minutes to study poems and math. He is patient for this task and never says "no". Actually, he is more interested in drawing pictures. The place where he draws is about 1hour away from our home. He never minds the long way to the drawing place.

I find that children can always keep on new things. On the contrary, parents are easy to quit.

  1. He becomes more and more independent.

Now he can finish his homework independently. He can send the sound record to the QQ group by himself. He can brush his teeth. He can arrange his schoolbag. He can help us to do some housework.

Someday, I heard some parents were chatting about how to urge the kids to finish homework. I am so lucky that I don't have this upset.

One author said that "the task of parents is that just staring at the back of your kid , farther and farther away."

I agree with this aphorism. So, what I need to do is teaching him to be an independent person as soon as possible.
