too much too soon（太多太早）

“Too much too soon”is a commonly-used set phrase that means exactly what it says – that something is too much too soon, often in regards to things that develop such as relationships. It is commonly used in casual speech but is fine to use in more formal speech as well.

“Too much too soon”是一个常用的固定搭配，表达的就是字面意思——某事太早太多了，经常指发展的事物比如情感关系。虽然经常用于口语，但是用于书面表达也可以。

involves going out to dinner. Many restaurants will have special menus on Valentine's

Day for couples, almost always including champagne. Other traditions on Valentine's

Day include giving chocolate and flowers.
