我迟到了英语怎么表达?别只会用I'm late!

I'm sorry, I fear that I can't come on time.

很抱歉，我恐怕不能准时到达了。

Something's come up.

出了点事情。

something's come up = something has come up.

你迟到了，就先说出了点事，之后如果需要在慢慢解释。

Something urgent has come up, and I'm sorry I won't be able to make it this afternoon.

对不起！发生急事了。今天下午我不能赴约了。

I am awfully sorry that I have kept you waiting.

真是很抱歉让您久等了。

这并不是Chinglish，英语里面也有“久等了”的说法。

表达“迟到”还能用哪些方法呢？

1、I overslept.

睡过头了！

例句：

I forgot to set my alarm and I overslept.

我忘了定闹钟，结果睡过了头。

2、The bus was late.

公交车晚点了

例句：

Sorry but the bus was late again today!

实在抱歉，但是公车又晚点了

3、The traffic was terrible.

交通太差了

例句：

The traffic was terrible so I had to wait.

交通太差了，所以我只能等。

4、I got lost coming here. 我来这里迷路了

例句：

It's hard to find this place. I got lost coming here.

这地方太难找了，我都迷路了。

5、I couldn't find a parking spot.找不到停车位

例句：

I had to drive to another parking lot because I couldn't find a parking spot.

我必须开到另一个停车场，我根本找不到车位。
