在eclipse启动tomcat时遇到超时45秒问题的解决方法

启动tmcat是出现如下提示：

Server Tomcat v7.0 Server at localhost was unable to start within 45 seconds. If the server requires more time, try increasing the timeout in the server editor.

网上解决办法。

 

1.在 eclipse菜单-》window->preferencs里找到server 中最下面一项：server timeout delay 设置成 Unlimited 即可！

 

但是eclipse 3.6,3.7中没有找到这一选项。

 

修改 workspace\.metadata\.plugins\org.eclipse.wst.server.core\servers.xml文件

 

把 start-timeout="45" 改为 start-timeout="1000" 或者更长
