啦啦啦,今天又长了一岁,感恩身边有很多可爱的人们陪伴。虽然生日,文章也不能停。今天的笔记分享一些英文原版“语录”
前几天看英剧「王冠」时,伊丽莎白女王在第一次电视直播圣诞节演讲时,读了一段《天路历程》里面的段落,虽然这本书目前还没有看过,但是也不妨碍先在文章摘录一些有对生活有启发的句子,希望自己可以有更广阔的胸怀,与克服所有挑战的勇气。
《天路历程》是英国约翰·班扬创作的长篇小说。分上下两卷。上卷:一个叫做“基督徒”的人,在得知自己的城市将要毁灭的时候,经过一个叫“传道者”的人指点,逃离故乡,前往天国的故事。下卷写的是基督徒的妻子“女基督徒”和孩子们在一个叫做“无畏”的人的指引下,前往天堂的朝圣过程。旅程途中充满艰难险阻与世间百态,而经历过苦难后,朝圣者最终灵魂终于得到了救赎。
