2018-10-22 Stargirl

Stargirl, a special high school student,or may be we can say she is weird.

She wore an off-white dress so long it covered her shoes, it had ruffles around the neck and cuffs and looked like it could have been her great-grandmother's gown. Her hair was the color of sand and fell to her shoulders. She carried a large canvas bag with a life-seize sunflower painted on it and a pet mouse in it. There was a ukulele on her back.She was homeschooling before she came to the high school.

The word kind can not fully describe her personality. She laughed when their was no joke ,she danced when there was no music,she had no friends ,yet she was the friendliest person in school. She sang birthday songs for the students in her school although she didn't knew them, she presented gifts to her classmates during Chrismas or other festivals. She cheered for their opposite football teams when they scored a goal. She attended strangers' funeral,droped coins on the sidewys for children to picke up just to make them happy,placed  potted violets in people's front doors,showed her love to Leo boldly. She cheered anyone ,anything and anytime.

For her love to Leo, she changed to  look like the with other students, they still treated her as invisible. After her trying to be popular failed, she changed back to herself. Be herself and never afraid what others thought  of her.

I thought Leo was a coward, because he was afraid to stand up for his love.

As Archie said,"Star people are rare, You' ll be lucky to meet one."
