mount: unknown filesystem type 'ntfs'

When the CentOS 6.3 is installed (after Win 7), the "C:\" cann't be open in CentOS, the following solutions will make you open the "C:\" in Win 7.

If you get the error : mount: unknown filesystem type 'ntfs' do the following to mount NTFS to a linux Centos:

1. wget http://packages.sw.be/rpmforge-release/rpmforge-release-0.3.6-1.el5.rf.i386.rpm
2. rpm -Uhv rpmforge-release-0.3.6-1.el5.rf.i386.rpm
3.  
4. yum install fuse fuse-ntfs-3g dkms dkms-fuse
5.  
6. mkdir /mnt/usb
7.  
8. mount -t ntfs-3g /dev/sdc1 /mnt/usb

To get it to work on Bookup: add this line to the /etc/fstab file:

1. /dev/sdc1               /mnt/usb          ntfs-3g rw,umask=0000,defaults 0 0
