Carlos Moya ,a Spanish tennis player , who ever ranked first in the world, joined Rafa Nadal team in 2017 and became one of the Nadal's training coaches to train him who has ever won 15 grand slam Championships. In 2013, Nadal was the tennis player ranking number one, and forehand was his characteristic, but as age increased,muscle strength decreased, and the old wound relapsed, he was out of the Top 10player. After Moya’s joining, Nadal won 17 games in succession , because of which, he won the French tennis championship in June 11th.

Moya said in an interview that after he became a coach, the biggest challenge was to let Nadal leave the training field because he was extremely diligent. "We try to shorten the training time..Sometimes he can't do it because he is fond of training and gets used to long training. When you're in your teens, you're in the formative stages. Therefore,you need a lot of training. But now,  maintaining a high standard of quality is enough to him...... Sometimes it's more important to leave the field than to keep on training, and resting is also part of the training. You ought to be aware of when you need more training and when you can reduce your workouts. That will better help improve yourself !" Attitude adjustment is one of the approaches to be better. Apart from this, Moya also advised Nadal to strengthen the quality of the backhand, adding another weapon to the forehand. Last but not least, he put more emphasis on nutrition, because only when the muscles become stronger can the muscles share the impact of strenuous exercise on the bone, and  reduce risk of the injury .

莫亚接受媒体采访时说,自己成为教练之后,最大挑战就是让纳达尔离开训练场,因为他实在是太勤奋了,“我们试着缩短训练时间。有时候做不到,因为他喜欢训练,并且习惯了长时间的训练。当你十几岁时,正处于成型阶段,需要长时间的训练。但现在,他只要维持高质量的水准就行……有时候,离开球场比坚持训练更重要,休息也是训练的一部分(Resting is part of training)。你得留意什么时候需要更多训练,什么时候减少训练量才会更有帮助!”调整心态只是其中一步,莫亚还建议纳达尔加强反手击球的质量,在正手击球之外增加另一个武器;他更加强调营养,因为只有肌肉变得更加强壮,才能分担剧烈运动对骨头的冲击,也能减少受伤的可能。
