Lesson fourteen. Do you speak English. I had an amusing experience last year. After I had left a small village in the south of France, I drove on to the next town. On the way, a young man waved to me. I stopped and he asked me for a lift. As soon as he had got into the car, I said good morning to him in French and he replied in the same language. Apart from a few words, I do not know any French at all. Neither of us spoke during the journey. I had nearly reached the town,when the young man suddenly said,very slowly, ' Do you speak English. As I soon learnt, he was English himself!

(1)发音要点:
口型:咧嘴,微笑状
舌位:舌尖轻抵下齿,舌前中部会碰到上颚

选择前元音/ɪ/音练习
(1)发音要点:这个音并不是长元音/i:/的缩短版
口型:嘴巴是相对放松的,轻微地张开(半个手指)就够了,嘴角稍微向上扬。
舌位:舌头也是稍靠前的,放在下齿的后方,轻轻地碰到下齿则可。

练习感悟:
1.练习新音前复习了中元音/ə/、/ʌ/,前元音/ɛ/、/æ/,在复习中发现了前面笔记中的错误,进行了修改;先慢读单词20遍,再把列举的单词连读起来,找到四个音的发音状态,与没有查证练习时的发音真的不相同,感觉到了自己的进步。
2.今天练的两个前元音比较相似,通过慢读、连读相应的单词,找准发音的位置,体会到了他们的不同,读多了,差异还是比较明显的。
3.练发音总是看到前元音、中元音等术语,今天补上了一点简单的理论知识:
元音:利用口腔、鼻腔等共鸣发音,类似韵母
辅音:利用嘴唇摩擦爆破发音,类似声母
前元音:发音位置在口腔内靠前
中元音:发音位置在口腔内中部左右
后元音:发音位置在口腔内靠后
紧元音:需要更多的嘴部和面部运动
松元音:只需要舌头和喉咙的变化
