原型

An archetype is a platonic ideal; an original pattern or model that all things of the same kind are derived, copied, patterned, or emulated from. An archetype maybe an idealized model of a person, object, pattern, or concept.

The Swiss psychiatrist, Carl Jung, built on Plato's hypothesis and suggested the existence of universal contentless forms that inform an individual's experiences and emotions. These archetypes are imprinted in an individual's psyche, based on his or her societal traditions and upbringing.
