Last 3 teens sickened by bus fumes released

Three members of a girls volleyball team at a Schaumburg school have been released from a Milwaukee hospital where they were treated for carbon monoxide poisoning, officials said Monday.

The three girls were among a group of six teens and three adults who complained Sunday of nausea, dizziness and headaches after the exhaust system malfunctioned on a bus taking them to a youth volleyball camp in Wisconsin.

The girls are members of a volleyball team at Schaumburg Christian School, which is affiliated with Bethel Baptist Church.

The nine people were taken to Mercy Hospital in Janesville for tests. Six were released Sunday, but the three girls were taken to Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center in Milwaukee for treatment.
