Why there are so many mute English learners in China?

  The mute English means that the people have a good ability to write and comprehend but do bad in listening or speaking .But why there are so many mute English learners in China ?

  I analyze it from the education ,society ,and economy .

  First of all ,from the education I think the College entrance examination is not enough to pay attention to oral English .However ,because of the imbalance of economic development ,it is difficult for our country to do this .Following this ,the students and teachers are devoted to reciting words , doing examination papers ,seldom practicing oral English .As we know ,practice is the most significant .But the school don't creat a good  environment for students to practice oral English .What's more ,it is our teaching material that is tedious and not related to ture life .

  From  the economic aspect ,due to the imbalance economic development many students in countryside is hard to have  a teacher who say a fluent English and have the chance to talk different from that the students come from a middle class family .Thy only thing they can do is to recite words,do many tests and get a excellent grade .

  At last , many student are afraid of talking in English as  a result of worrying about making mistakes .The social maybe is too strict to Chinese Engliah learners.

      In a word ,we are short of practing oral English .
