The problems of global recruitment are disappearing rapidly. The reason for this lies in the technology that could redefine the traditional job interview. Employers now have at their disposal a range of communication tools. These give them access to the global recruitment market, enabling them to interview and assess their choice of candidates on screen, for example via video-conference link, CD-ROM display or electronic file transfer.
