风雨交加的晚上，女主人公Margaret缩在自己的卧室，里面有几个词介绍风是怎么刮的，Margaret因为天气感到害怕是怎么描述的，都有哪些词我们可以学习呢？
In her attic bedroom Margaret Murry, wrapped in an old patchwork quilt, sat on the foot of her bed and watched the trees tossing in the frenzied lashing of the wind.
Margaret坐在床脚，把自己裹在旧床单里。
1. attic,文中的意思是：阁楼，顶楼。
2. wrap， 文中的意思是：包裹，wrap sth in sth.
3. patchwork quilt： 拼布床单，quilt是床单的意思。
Margaret看着外面的树，在狂风拍打下摇曳。
1. toss：摇摆，抛掷，翻来覆去的意思，文中的意思是摇摆。英文解释会更方便记忆：
a. to throw sth., especially sth light, with a quick gentle movement of your hand扔，掷，抛，尤指轻的东西
b. to move about continuously in a violent or uncontrolled way, or to make something do this
