第二本读后感20210105





I would like to start a new year with good spirit and positive attitude by reading this book.Yes, It did.

This book has 236 pages only, it is easy to read and it doesn’t require you too much vocabulary.

In the book, it lists down plenty of tips, ways and benefits to have positive thinking. Here I will put some my favourite ones:

·      You are what you think. And what you think, you are.

·      “Change your thoughts and you change your world.” Norman Vincent Peale.

·      Shakespeare said, “Nothing is good or bad, but thinking makes it so.”

·      Positive thinking brings hope.

·      Happiness doesn’t depend on how few negative thoughts you have, but on what you do with the ones you have.

·      “Turn your face to the sun and the shadows fall behind you.” Maori proverb

·      “Success depends on your backbone not your wishbone.” Kamari aka Lyrikal

·      “To change one’s life, start immediately. Do it flamboyantly. No exceptions.” William James.

·      “Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one’s courage.” Anais Nin.

·      “Comparison is the thief of joy.” Theodore Roosevelt.

Positive thinking can’t replace positive action. What positive thinking does do is encourage proactive behaviour, and pragmatic ways to accomplish goals, overcome obstacles and manage setbacks. If you combine positive thinking with positive action, you’ll be more likely to get positive results.

If you are caring and supportive to other people, you are likely to get a positive response from them. This will help you feel more positive about yourself and how other people perceive you. Help other people and, in the process, you help yourself.

Your confidence and self-esteem have quite an impact on your ability to get what you want and achieve your goals. Confidence, though, is not about what you can or can’t do, it’s what you think and belive you can or can’t do.

Courage feels a lot like fear. But courage is the ability to face difficulty despite your fear and concerns.

As Oprah Winfrey said “The greatest discovery of all time is that a person can change their future by merely changing their attitude."

Choose a positive attitude!
