汝窑瓷釉基本色调是一种淡淡的天青色,俗称"鸭蛋壳青色",釉层不厚,随造型的转折变化,呈现浓淡深浅的层次变化。釉面开裂纹片,多为错落有致的极细纹片,透明无色似冰裂,俗称为"蟹爪纹"。汝窑瓷器底款有刻"奉华"和"蔡"字的两种,应为后刻,当为宋时所刻,均与宋宫廷和皇室相关。汝窑瓷器以釉色取胜,少见花纹装饰,但汝窑未烧贡瓷以前,曾有刻花和印花产品,如宝丰汝窑遗址曾发掘出刻花鹅颈瓶,当为汝窑未成为官窑以前的产品。

The basic color of Ru kiln porcelain glazeis a light azure color, commonly known as "duck eggshell cyan". Theglaze layer is not thick, and changes with the shape of the transition, showinga thick and light level changes. Glaze cracking patterns, mostly scattered finelines, transparent and colorless like ice cracks, commonly known as "crabclaw pattern". There are two kinds of inscriptions on the bottom of Rukiln porcelain, Fenghua and Cai, which should be the later inscriptions. Whenthey were inscribed in Song Dynasty, they were related to the court and royalfamily of Song Dynasty. Ru kiln porcelain wins by glaze color, rarelydecorative patterns, but before Ru kiln burned tribute porcelain, there werecarved and printed products, such as the Ru kiln ruins in Baofeng excavatedcarved gooseneck bottles, as Ru kiln did not become a product before theofficial kiln.

汝窑瓷器传世最少,且后代从未仿烧到九成像者,鉴别真伪不是很难,尤其是记住汝窑的主要特征,更不会轻易上当。除胎釉、支钉痕外,汝窑瓷器至今未有高度超过30厘米、圆器口径超过20厘米的完整传世品。汝窑未烧造官窑瓷以前也曾生产青瓷,同时也生产磁州窑类型产品,真正的汝官窑产品,传世的仅见70余件。历代墓葬中时至今日未见出土一件汝官窑瓷,故鉴定汝窑瓷器时一定要慎重考虑各种因素。尤其是汝窑青釉器也有类似汝官窑的,但那是民窑所产,与汝官窑是两码事。

莲之美丽在于它的高洁和给予,北宋周敦颐说:“莲,花之君子者也”。他写的《爱莲说》流传千古:“予独爱莲之出淤泥而不染,濯清涟而不妖,中通外直,不蔓不枝,香远益清,亭亭净植,可远观而不可亵玩焉。”以莲花喻君子,志行高洁。其实,以莲花或莲瓣作为器物之纹饰及造型,随佛教之传入而盛行,尔后更取其出泥不染之习性,寓意廉洁,广为各类器所采用,宋代南北方瓷窑均有烧造,为宋代常见器型。
