I borrowed the book from my sister in law yesterday. Wow, I found a lot of picture books in her apartment as well, that meant we can share the books, for returning, I will read with her son. Haha, That’s fair! I am looking forward to reading with the kids!

Let’s look at the front page. I chatted with Simon, ask him some questions, such as, what color is the sheep?(I  pointed at them one by one) Simon knew exactly what colors they were.

This is a great book to teach kids about adjectives, some adjectives are very easy to recognize, some are strange, for example, here is the up sheep, here is the down sheep. They are the preposition. The whole story is going on with the question of where is the green sheep. It even interested me very much.

When we were reading on this page. About the car sheep and the train sheep. Well, I found that the sentences didn’t match the picture. I ask Simon: where is the car sheep? He pointed to the car sheep. Then I asked where is the train sheep? He pointed to the sheep who was in the third window of the train. The conversation was very fluent. I continued to ask where is the cat? Where is the sneaky snack? Where is the red rabbit? Ect. Simon was very happy to point out the animals which I asked him. But every time I asked where is the green sheep? He was a little bit confused.

Finally, we read almost the end. I turned the page quickly, as the book said. Simon was excited, he kept saying, Let me have a look! But I took a peep on my own, and I asked him with a smile on my face, guess what I saw? Bingo! Here is the green sheep! What is the green sheep doing? Simon said, he is sleeping! We laughed together!

When I said the end, the little boy bounced away. Haha
