The meaning of life

I've been trying to find out the meaning of life since the early age. I asked my dad this question when he was close to 80 years old. He told me about his bird that used to pick him up when he was off school, his experiences with Japanese army during war period, his early age stories, stories about my other older sisters. I still remember the way he danced. I thought he could tell me that life is interesting, at least at some points. But I only got an negative answer which was just like mine. Nothing interesting that worth to live.

Now, at this moment, this negative thinking comes to me again. I'll stop here and do some reading. Guess we all can't live alone.
