Office 2007 Beta2即将放出，法德西日四语言本地化版本出现

刚从微软内部获悉,包含英、法、德、西班牙语和日语的Office 2007 Beta2已经在内部开始大面积测试,而日文版本是双字节的规范版本,这也就意味着中文版本的Beta 2已经很近很近.

北 京时间今天早上5时，微软Microsoft Business Division的总裁Jeff Raikes向微软全体员工发送了一封关于2007 Office System Beta2的测试邮件，邀请所有员工品尝Beta2的Dogfood（微软内部对于测试中的产品的昵称——编者注）。这是微软的历来传统：Be Microsoft’s First and Best Customer。在邮件中，有这样一句话也许可以使大家欢欣鼓舞：Soon the 2007 Microsoft Office system Beta 2 will be available externally to the general public.

在此次内部测试的版本中，出现了除英文版之外的其它四种语言：法语、德语、西班牙语和日语。对于中国地区的用户，最关心的简体中文版暂时并未出现，但是按照微软的产品本地化过程，日语是双字节语言的pilot语言，相信其它双字节语言的版本包括中文、韩文等也是指日可待。

以下是微软为此次Beta2的internal test给出的一些建议。

Backup your data

l         There are known risks with installing this or any Beta software on your primary or only machine. Protect your data by backing it up before installation. [NOTE: The file formats in Office 2007 are changing and are still under development. Any important documents should be saved in legacy (doc, xls, and ppt) formats.]

Installation Instructions

l         Uninstall ALL 2007 Microsoft Office system Beta  [pre-release] applications from your system, using Add or Remove Programs in the Control Panel.

l         If you are running any additional 2007 Microsoft Office system applications, follow these recommendations:

l         Additional 2007 Microsoft Office system Beta 2 applications (such as OneNote, Groove, Visio, etc.) - Upgrade to the Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2007 before upgrading other Microsoft Office system applications.

l         Office 2003 family applications may run side by side with the 2007 Microsoft system release but we recommend upgrading to experience the enhancements to these applications as well.

l         If requested at the end of the installation, Reboot your system after all installations are complete.

Install Now or Wait?

Any Windows Vista Pre Beta 2 version	Office 2007 Beta 2 is not supported on any Windows Vista version prior to Beta 2. Helpdesk is not providing support for this configuration.

 

从以上建议中可以看到，此次Beta2的测试平台首选是XP SP2和2003，而对Vista的支持仅从Beta2开始，也就是说如果用户想在Vista上使用Office 2007，最好是等到Vista的Beta2之后，否则发生的任何问题微软也无法提供回答。

另：日前出现的关于2007 Office System简体中文版的消息，据编者观察，并非假冒，而是来自参与本地化工作的内部人员。这恰恰证明了简体中文版的制作早已在紧锣密鼓的开展，只是尚未能够公布。大家暂时只能通过内部消息来解解馋罢了。
