Libertarians are not satisfied for judicial picks which are too many former prosecutors become lawyers. Besides, Sherrilyn Ifill told her perspective that public defenders have essentially been shut out to a journalist, and she thinks just substantive diversity is real but not cosmetic diversity. Obviously, Joe Biden is not the most promising figure from standpoint of criminal justice reform. But one positive thing he can do is to appoint more judges whose experience includes battling the government in court.
