VIP讲堂——Present Continuous（2018/09/26）

The Present Continuous is a verb tense used to talk about things that we ‘are doing’ now.

Form:  subject + present simple of ‘to be’ + (verb)-ing.        E.g: I am learning English.

Present continuous?

1. Talking about things that someone likes. ✖  ---- (not used - that is a state)

2.Talking about someone’s work in a present project. √

---- (Present continuous is used to talk about a present ongoing action)

3. Talking about something that you do twice a week. ✖ --- (not used - this is a routine)

4. Talking about someone’s height. ✖ ------ (not used - this is a state)

5. Talking about your present travels and destination. √

  ---- (Present Continuous is used to talk about a present ongoing action)

6. Talking about someone’s hair color. ✖  ---- (not used - this is a state)

7. ]Talking about someone’s feelings right now. ✖  ---- (not used - this is a state)
