一般时的4种时态：
一般现在时，一般过去时，一般将来时，过去将来时。
1.一般现在时（the present tense）
a.表示经常或习惯性的动作；
I brush my teeth twice a day.
b.描述主语现阶段的状态、特征等；
Tom is in Class 6, Grade 1.
c.表示按计划或安排要发生的动作；
The train leaves at 3 o'clock this afternoon.
d.表示客观事实或普遍真理；
The earth moves around the sun.
e.表示格言或警句中；
Pride goes before a fall.
2.一般过去时（the past tense）
概念：表示过去某个时间里发生的动作或状态；
I had a nightmare last night.
He used to visit his mother once a week.
特殊用法：一般过去时有时可代替一般现在时，表达一种婉转、客气、商量的语气。如：
I wanted to ask you if I could borrow your car?
3.一般将来时（the future tense）
概念：表示将来某一时刻或某一段时间内的动作或状态；
This is just what I am going to say.
I shall / will give her a hand-made craft as her birthday gift.
特殊用法1：短暂性动词的正在进行时表将来。
My mother is coming to visit me next week.
特殊用法2：be about to表将来。
I am about to leave for the airport.
特殊用法3：be to do表将来。
You are to go to bed and keep quiet, kids.
4.过去将来时（the past future tense）
概念：表示从过去的某一时间来看将来要发生的动作或呈现的状态；
I didn't know if he would come.
She told us that she would not go with us, if it rained.
You said on Thursday you would see me the next day.
进行时的4种时态
现在进行时，过去进行时，将来进行时，过去将来进行时。
1.现在进行时（the present continuous tense）
概念：表示现在在做什么，动作正在进行中；
I am waiting for the train.
My father is living in Xi'an now.
The number of cars on the road is increasing.
2.过去进行时（the past continuous tense）
概念：表示过去某时正在进行的动作；
What were you doing at seven p.m. yesterday?
Mary was listening to light music 10 minutes ago.
I was washing my hair when you knocked at the door.
3.将来进行时（the future continuous tense）
概念：强调在将来的某个具体时间正在发生的动作或事情；
Don't call me between 10:00 and 10:30 tomorrow. I'll be having my class then.
Please come tomorrow afternoon, I'll be having a meeting tomorrow morning.
You won't miss her. She will be wearing a white T-shirt and a black skirt at that time.
4.过去将来进行时（the past future continuous tense）
概念：表示就过去某一时间而言，将来某一时刻或某一段时间正在进行的动作；
I never realized that some day I would be living in China.
He asked me what I would be doing at six o'clock tomorrow.
He said that he could not come because he would be having a meeting.
完成时的4种时态
现在完成时，过去完成时，将来完成时，过去将来完成时
1.现在完成时（the present perfect tense）
A）表示动作到现在为止已经完成或刚刚完成；
We have seen that film before.
I bought a new house, but I haven't sold my old one, so now I have two houses.
B）表示从过去开始，持续到现在的动作或情况，并有可能会继续延续下去；
John has worked in our company for 6 years.
Simon has lived in China for almost 10 years.
2.过去完成时（the past perfect tense）
概念：表示一个动作在过去某事之前已经开始，一直延续到这一过去时间；
Blair hadn't gone to bed by 12 o'clock yesterday.
My father had left for Beijing before I came home.
I had already finished my class when you arrived at our school.
3.将来完成时（the future perfect tense）
概念：在将来某一时间某个动作将会完成；
I will have lived in Shenzhen for 18 years by the year of 2028.
Will you have finished your work by the end of this month?
You will have arrived at Shanghai by this time tomorrow.
4.过去将来完成时（the past future continuous tense）
概念：表示从过去来看，将来某时某动作已经完成；
My husband said he would have come back by the end of next year.
He knew by the time he arrived at the restautant she would have gone home.
I guessed that Mother would have made some sandwiches by the time we got back.
完成进行时的4种时态
现在完成进行时，过去完成进行时，将来完成进行时，过去将来完成进行时。
1.现在完成进行时（the present perfect continuous tense）
概念：表示动作从过去某一时间开始，一直持续到现在已经多久时间，并很可能继续下去。
We have been working on this project for over a month.
It has been raining for two hours.
It seems oil has been leaking from this pipe for some time.
2.过去完成进行时（the past perfect continuous tense）
概念：表示过去某一时间之前一直进行的动作，并且现在动作还在继续；
She had been suffering from a bad cold before she took the exam.
John had been asking me the same question for almost 6 times.
By yesterday, I had been looking for it for 7 days.
3.将来完成进行时（the future perfect continuous tense）
概念：表示动作从某一时间开始一直延续到将来某一时间, 并可能继续延续下去；
Vicky will have been working in this School for 12 years by the end of next year.
By Friday, we will have been working on the project for seven days.
By the time John retires, Jerry will have been teaching for 10 years.
4.过去将来完成进行时（the past future perfect continuous tense）
概念：表示动作从过去某一时间开始一直延续到对于过去来说的将来某一时间，并可能继续延续下去；
I heard that by May Vicky would have been working here for twelve years.
She told me she would have been teaching in the 'university for 20 years by this summer.
He said that by the end of the spring term he would have been studying English for three years.
