My national pride

Don't misunderstand. I am not meaning other nations are not good. I just want to say I love my nation.

I am a true Bai people.(It is a minority in China) Maybe you will ask me why would I say " true"? Are there not true? In our life, " true Bai" means you have the lineage of Bai and you can say Bai language. But "fake Bai" means you only have the lineage of Bai, but you can't speak Bai language. For those people, they often laugh at themselves for being a fake Bai and learn Bai language modestly. I have a friend who is a "fake"Bai. She told me since child, she went to Han school and lived in Han enviroment. Her parents didn't teach her Bai language because they worried it would affect her Han pronunciation. In my opinion, no matter where you are from, you are bound to have a local accent of your hometown. As you grow older, you will natrurally become aware of the problem and gradually fix it. Besides, your accent also your special. After all, most of students in China  not only learn one language, we also need learn English. When We talk English, We still have Chinese accent. Even We I learn English, I find some advantages for Bai people. For example, the/i:/, /u:/, /v/, in Hang language don't get used to say the syllable. However, in Bai language, we have the syllable. So It's easy for us to read it.

All in all, I like learning laguage and am proud of my nation. All minorities have  their own valuable culture, and I hope we can heritage and develop them. Don't let culture die.
