How to insist in doing exercise

For everyone, it’s easy to start to do exercise. I believe that many people have tried to do it many times. However, in most cases, few people can insist in doing exercise for long-term, such as six months, two years, five years... How do we keep on a good habit to insist in doing exercise? Today I’d like to air my points.

First, we’d better choose a kind of sports we like. As we know, there is no fitness rules required that people must go to the gym for exercise. Fitness doesn’t mean that we need to do some strict standard sport items, but let our bodies can get some exercise. In my eyes, there are many various forms of fitness, such as dumbbell, walk, jogging, table tennis, riding on a bicycle and so on. Choosing a kind of fitness, which we like and can keep on, whenever we can do it.

Second, if we cannot insist in doing exercise alone, it’s a good idea for us to find a fitness partner, who is good at doing exercise. If there is a fitness partner doing exercise with us, we can keep on this habit effectively. For example, if we have a jogging appoint with the partner one day, we can’t break the promise. Otherwise, we will lose our credibility. I guess most people wouldn’t like to endure the cost. I love doing exercise even I don’t have any fitness partners. But, when I go out for sport, I often see some couples or some friends jogging together. If some people exist lack of perseverance pasts, finding a fitness partner is essential.

Third, we must give priority to do exercise every day. For me, I like to do exercise every morning. I always get up 5:00AM and keep on the habit for more than two years. In the mornings, apart from reading book, I must keep exercise including jogging, dumbbell and back stretch. From my experience, it’s easy to control our morning time due to no appointment and interrupter. For parents, when they keep on getting up early, children still are sleeping. They also have enough time to do exercise.

In short, doing exercise is our lifetime task. A good habit not only make us have a healthy body, but also let us have a positive attitude to face every difficulty, and we also can win a meaningful life.
