Some people say that, in some hospital, doctors reject to recept the patients who carry HIV.
Last night, I saw a article criticize the phenomenon that some HIV-carried patients were rejected in some hospital. He said that AIDS patients shouldn't be rejected, and I agree with this opinion, what's more, I also think that I can understand the doctors who reject the patients.
It's the obligation for doctors to treat patients, however, in some situations, some small hospitals or clinics don't have the enough conditions to clean the medical instrument thoroughly, which could make some potential security risks. And I can extremely understand that the doctors who face to or give surgery to a AIDS patients, they may feel scary and afraid, because some danger is indeed exist.
But in fact, in most situations, hospital don't reject AIDS pacients. I have treated hundreds of AIDS patients, and I just treat them as simple patients. What's more, if I have to talk about the situation about HIV infection, I may protect their privacy carefully.
I think that patients are not the enemies of other people, but diseases are. Patients and doctors shouldn't be opposite, so are patients and other healthy ones. All of us should take care of ourselves and improve our health literacy.
