If you can change one aspect to improve your health, which would you choose and why?

1. Regulating the amount of stress in our life cannot serve as an effective way for us to keep healthy. That is because our pressure usually comes from various sources, many of which are beyond our control. For instance, we may feel stressed because we cannot accomplish a task given by our boss. But we cannot change the amount of stress since we cannot always change our job. Similarly, students may suffer from great stress when they cannot live up to their parents' expectations, but they have no choice because they cannot break up with their parents.

2. Changing the kinds of food to maintain our health is not that practical, too. Students who spend the majority of their time studying at school have their three meals in the school' canteen, the menu of which is previously designed and settled by the administrators. Even if sometimes they find the dishes unhealthy or lacking in nutrients, they cannot persuade the school leaders to replace all the items. Nor can students afford to dine out all the time, which, as a matter of fact, will also pose threat to their health, because many producers or restaurants may sacrifice the quality of food for the sake of profits.

3. However, doing exercise is more accessible for we to improve our health. Things as simple as playing basketball can keep us healthy. All that we need is purchasing a basketball, which is affordable for nearly everyone. Also, the time we spend on exercise can be controlled by ourselves. If we are occupied with work, we can walk or jump for about 30 minutes during the lunch break. And when we have more spare time on weekends or holidays, we can extend the time for exercise based on our own needs and interests. Making it a routine to work out will do.
