15、bail on somebody：（leave the person with difficult situation）
16、a can-do attitude：（when you do something,always think you can do it）
17、an 8.2 magnitude quake：（a way to describe earthquake）
18、writer‘s block：（when you want to writer something, but nothing come to your brain.）
19、savvy：（something savvy means that you know a lot of the thing）
20、a jerk：（you know what is mean）
21、crack someone up / crack up：（make someone laugh，laugh loud）

1、Clarinet：
A clarinet is a musical instrument of the woodwind family in the shape of a pipe. You play the clarinet by blowing into it and covering and uncovering the holes with your fingers.
2、Purple：
Something that is purple is of a reddish-blue colour.
3、Tuba：
A tuba is a large musical instrument of the brass family which produces very
low notes.
4、No dice：
Something that people say when you may not or cannot do something.
5、Bat：
When you bat, you have a turn at hitting the ball with a bat in baseball, softball, cricket, or rounders.
6、Mark my words：
If you say 'mark my words' to someone, you are emphasizing that something you have just warned them about is very likely to happen, especially when you think they should change their attitude or behaviour to prevent it.
7、Bizarre：
Something that is bizarre is very odd and strange.
8、Leap：
A leap is a large and important change, increase, or advance.
9、Bastard：
Bastard is an insulting word which some people use about a person who has behaved very badly.
10、Moment of truth：
If you refer to a time or event as the moment of truth, you mean that it is an important time when you must make a decision quickly, and whatever you decide will have important consequences in the future.
11、Get it on：
To have sexual intercourse.
12、Crap out：
To fail to do or attempt something through fear.
13、Run through：
If you run through a list of items, you read or mention all the items quickly.
14、Particular：
You use particular to emphasize that you are talking about one thing or one kind of thing rather than other similar ones.
15、Bodega：
· a small grocery store
· a wine shop
· a bar; tavern
16、Suffice：
If you say that something will suffice, you mean it will be enough to achieve a purpose or to fulfil a need.
17、Gin：
Gin is a strong colourless alcoholic drink made from grain and juniper berries.
18、Vermouth：
Vermouth is a strong alcoholic drink made from red or white wine flavoured with herbs.
19、For starters：
You use for starters when you mention something to indicate that it is the first item or point in a series.
