Presentation

All right!(升调)I prefer to share the advice I received from my husband when I was trying to decide my post-graduate major. It went back to a few months ago when I decided to study abroad. I couldn't decide between education major and human resource management. Well, education was the major I felt I can really learn a lot, but after I graduated from college, I did a job as a human resource manager for 3 years. So that was something I was familiar with. My husband saw the dilemma I had and offered to help. He suggested I look back to the original ground where I decided to study overseas. He pushed me to ask myself what was the one reason that allowed me to make my decision. I remember I thought for a little while, and smiled. I understand that I wasn't just searching for some opportunities to experience a different culture. Although that was also one of the reasons, the most important one was that I needed to focus myself on the field where my interest would lie. At the same time, I felt relieved by the advice my husband gave me not only because the problems had been resolved but also I'd found what I truly cared about.

Part 3

· Why do so many young people choose communication and media studies as their major?

Well, to tell you the truth, I don't really understand what the major is. But I believe it is something related to media? And yes, it is a popular major among the youngsters partly because they might have a chance to be a star or to work for a star. On the other hand, I think public opinion suggests that a graduate from media is somewhat a celebrity him or herself.

· Why do young people find it hard to make career choices?

Well of course it is hard. we are living in the age when two different jobs can be so separated that if you do one job for 10 years, it is almost impossible for you to change to the other job. That's the main reason in my opinion. While making career choices is particularly difficult for young people because of the lack of information of the career options. How much she would be paid at most? What is the routine work? Would she like it? Or is the schedule of work fit her timetable? So these are the two reasons why they are hesitant in choosing their career.
