CentOS Linux 为什么会终止生命周期？
2020 年，CentOS 项目与红帽联合宣布将全部投资转向 CentOS Stream， 这是未来红帽企业 Linux 发行版的上游开发平台。因此，CentOS Linux 7 将于 2024 年 6 月 30日停止维护，终止其生命周期。

CentOS：Community Enterprise OS
CentOS Linux：既是社区支持的企业级版本又是免费的，CentOS是从稳定的RHEL开源代码中重新构建出来的版本，CentOS Linux 是RHEL的下游项目
Fedora：RHEL的社区版本，是RHEL的上游版本，RHEL主要版本都是基于此上游项目，如果Fedora系统稳定后，再合并发布到RHEL。
CentOS Stream：是作为即将发布的RHEL的开源开发平台，是RHEL的上游版本，CentOS Stream 位于Fedora和RHEL之间，CentOS Stream 8 EOL: 2024-05-31；CentOS Stream 9 EOL: estimated 2027, dependent on RHEL9 end of “Full Support Phase”
