今天是周五啦,按照之前的惯例,有时候我会扒一些美剧的歌单,不过今天有点特别,我们来聊聊翻唱cover songs
许多同学下载音乐的时候一般是搜索“歌曲名称”,看对应“演唱者”,然后再下载。但是小刘在之前探索了一下许许多多的翻唱版本的歌曲,没想到也很好听!翻唱不仅仅是模仿,也许还有再创作的成分,让原来的歌曲有了新的风格和感觉:当一张摇滚专辑改编成了钢琴伴奏的版本会是怎么样?当霉霉的热门单曲被钢琴和鼓点赋予复古的魅力会是怎么样?当一整年的歌曲串在一起改编会是怎么样?
今天小刘在自己喜欢的一些风格独特的翻唱歌手和组合中选取5个为大家做一些介绍,并附上相应的语料哦!大家在网易云音乐或者QQ音乐搜索这些名字就可以听他们的翻唱啦!

1. Sam Tsui

Sam Tsui has been hailed as an internet singing sensation, who along with his production partner Kurt Schneider was among the first musicians to establish a hugely popular music-focused channel on Youtube. To date, his videos, including covers, medleys, and mashups, have amassed over 500 million hits on Youtube alone, with each new release, including his debut original album “Make It Up”, and his brand new 2018 album "Trust" contributing to his ever-expanding worldwide fanbase. A graduate of Yale University, Tsui has been able to harness the ever-changing tools of the digital music age to independently create an internationally popular channel and brand, garnering him countless TV and magazine appearances, including the Oprah Show and Ellen Show, and brand partnerships with brands like Coca Cola, Kia, McDonalds, and Samsung. Turning his digital success into ticket sales, he has toured extensively throughout the US, Asia, and Australia, with plans for more touring in 2018. Sam continues to use his powerful digital platform to share his distinctive music and creative video content with his fans, the "Samily".

2. Jason Chen

Jason Chen

Jason Chen is a bilingual Chinese-American pop singer. His musical journey began in 2006 as a promposal to his high school crush, and he evolved from performing cover songs on YouTube to producing original music and running online campaigns for Verizon, Toyota, Vivo, AT&T, Dove, GODIVA etc through his company - Music Never Sleeps, in 2010. His single, “Best Friend”, now has over 20 million views. He has performed in various countries such as Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Europe, United States, and Singapore. He worked with ETTV America as the musical director for the nationwide talent contest “Top Idol”. He is currently working on his 6th English album and original Chinese songs.

3. Anthem Lights

Anthem Lights is a pop/rock Christian boy band consisting of members Chad Graham, Caleb Grimm, Alan Powell, and Joey Stamper. The project began as a solo effort by Graham in collaboration with Powell. After deciding that the songs they had written would be better suited for a group, they joined with Grimm and former member Kyle Kupecky and released their first EP as a group under the name Yellow Cavalier. After changing their name to Anthem Lights, the band eventually signed with Reunion Records, and, on May 11, 2011, released their self-titled debut album, including the lead single Can't Shut Up . Just recently, Kupecky announced his departure from the band, as he felt God leading him to work on a solo project. Anthem Lights' newest member, Joey Stamper, has taken his place.


4. Postmodern Jukebox

Postmodern Jukebox

Postmodern Jukebox, also widely known by the acronym PMJ, is a rotating musical collective founded by arranger and pianist Scott Bradlee in 2011. PMJ is known for reworking popular modern music into different vintage genres, especially early 20th century forms such as swing and jazz. Postmodern Jukebox has amassed over 1.2 billion YouTube views and 4 million subscribers.[1]

Each week, Postmodern Jukebox releases a new video on YouTube. Although originally most were filmed casually in Bradlee's living room, sets became more elaborate over time. The band has covered songs by artists ranging from Lady Gaga and The Strokes to Katy Perry and the White Stripes. Since their beginnings as a small group of friends making music in a basement in Queens, New York, Postmodern Jukebox has gone on to feature 70 different performers and tour six continents.

5. Leroy Sanchez

Leroy Sanchez

Spanish-born, Los-Angeles based vocalist Leroy Sanchez is a passionate singer/songwriter with a bent toward emotive, acoustic-based pop and dance-oriented R&B. Born in Abetxuco, Spain in 1991, Sanchez became interested in music at a young age and learned both piano and guitar. At age 14, he competed on the reality TV vocal competition Veo Veo.

Through his popular YouTube channel, he was discovered online by Grammy-Award winning producer Jim Jonsin. He released his debut single Little Dancer in April of 2014, and debut EP Elevated in August of 2017.
