(5)方式伴随状语:表示行为方式、伴随情况或补充说明,加and可转换成并列结构;

e.g. The teacher entered the classroom, followed by a group of students.

     =The teacher entered the classroom and he was followed by a group of students.

(6)“with+宾语+过去分词”的用法:

①作原因状语。

②作时间状语。

③作方式状语。

④作条件状语。

e.g. With everything bought, he left the store and went home.

       With his son caught stealing goods from the store, he felt disappointed.

       The murderer was brought in, with his hands tied behind his back.

      With the problem settled, he felt quite relaxed.


4. 独立主格结构: 如果过去分词的动作不是句子的主语发出时,前面再加逻辑主语,这种带逻辑主语的过去分词结构叫独立主格结构。

 e.g. The letter written in French, I cannot understand it.


5.用所给词的适当形式填空:
