　　Qiu's Rhetoric（37）

　　Ma Xiaoqiu:Killing karma

　　今天，一位下属告诉我，现在好多人在餐桌上杀生，贪享口腹之欲。是的，这种现象随处可见。当今大多数人的饮食都是荤食居多，素食甚少。面对这样一种极为普遍的现象，我认为这是众生的业力所致。

　　Today,one of my subordinates told me that many people are now killing at the table and greedy for food.Yes,this phenomenon can be seen everywhere.Most people today eat mostly on food and have very little vegetarian food.In the face of such an extremely common phenomenon,I think this is due to the karma of all beings.

　　所谓业力，是指人在从事善业或恶业的过程中所形成的一种无形的力量，而这种力量不由自主地，始终牵引着我们去到善处，或者是去到恶处（也就是种善因得善果，种恶因得恶果的关系）。

　　The so-called karmic power refers to an invisible force formed by people in the process of doing good or bad karma.This kind of power involuntarily leads us to go to good places or to evil places.(That is,the good cause,the better result;the evil cause,the bad result.)

　　荤食是以杀生为代价的恶业力，这其中有间接杀生和直接杀生两种行为：间接杀生指的是我们吃的的＂三净肉＂，也就是不是我们亲自杀的，也不是专门为我们杀的。直接杀生，就是亲自宰杀牲畜的行为。无论间接还是直接杀生，都是我们恶业的开始，久而久之便形成一种力量。这种无形的力量牵引着我们朝不善之处一天天走着，于是我们身体的健康状况开始一天天的发生着变化，高血压、高血脂、高胆固醇等身体的病变接踵而至。尽管如此，杀生在人世间是不可能间断的一件事情，今生你吃我的肉，来世我吃你的肉。今生你杀我，来世我杀你，冤冤相报终不了。

　　Meat diet is the evil karma at the cost of killing,which includes indirect killing and direct killing.Indirect killing refers to the"three clean meats"that we eat,that is,we do not commit suicide,nor specifically for us to kill it.Direct killing is the act of personally slaughtering animals.Indirect or direct killing is the beginning of our bad karma,and it will form a kind of power over time.This kind of invisible force leads us to walk toward the bad ones day by day,so our body's health begins to change every day,and the body's pathological changes such as high blood pressure,high cholesterol,and high cholesterol follow.In spite of this,killing is a thing that cannot be interrupted in the human world.In this life you eat my flesh and in the afterlife I eat your flesh.You kill me in this life,I kill you in the afterlife.Retaliation is not the end of injustice.

　　所以，佛在经典中告诉我们＂万般皆离去，唯有业随身＂。战争的缘起和我们的杀生有关，但许多人都不明白，也不相信！古之圣贤早就告之我们＂欲知世上刀兵劫，且听夜半屠门声＂，人天感应，祸福自召。

　　Therefore,the Buddha told us in the classics that"all things will leave,and only the karma follows."The origin of the war is related to our killing,but many people do not understand it and do not believe it!The ancient sages had already told us that they"would like to know the swordsman robbers in the world and listen to the sound of the door in the middle of the night."Human heaven induction,fortunes or misfortunes are all created by man himself.

　　今天我们面对这样一个我们人类自己亲手打造出来的＂肉欲横流＂的世界，我们应该早早的认清杀生这一事实真相！为了我们的身心健康，为了世界的和平，我们尽量不吃或少吃众生肉吧！

　　Today we are facing with such a world with overflowing of lusts created by human beings.We should recognize the truth about the killing as soon as possible!For the sake of our physical and mental health,for the sake of peace in the world,we try not to eat or eat less meat.
