To be honest, I knew nothing about this school before I entered Hanshan Normal University. Nor I was a freshman,junior or senior student in college. It was not until graduation that I first knew the existence of this school.
As we all know, South China Normal University (SCNU; Chinese: 华南师范大学) is a comprehensive university of Project 211 in Guangzhou, capital of Guangdong province. It is a Chinese Ministry of Education Double First Class Discipline University, with Double First Class status in certain disciplines. The university is featured distinctively by both teaching and research, consisting of diverse branches of learning such as philosophy, economics, law, education, literature, history, science, technology, and management.
Last December, when I took part in postgraduate qualifying examination, I was exceedingly facinated by the beautiful campus. Kapok flower（木棉花） is also called "Hero flower", it's the municipal flower of Guangzhou, stands in rows in the university. It was the right anthesis, red dots sprinkle everywhere（那时正是木棉花开的季节，到处都被红点点缀着。）.The lake lay before me was blue and peaceful. It was extremely beautiful ! If only I could study here!
