我打算出一个日常小知识积累的系列，毕竟千里之行，始于足下，我把我认为比较实用的，对大家有帮助的整理起来，打包给大家，希望能对我的读者们有所帮助，但这些知识有点儿零碎，不成体系，希望大家见谅。

下面先试试水。

3.英语中某些句子表达的思想和中文中我们耳熟能详的句子类似，说明古今中外，们的思想核心是相似的。

比如简爱里有一句话:

The inanimate objects were not changed, but the living things had altered past recognition.

和李清照诗句中“物是人非事事休”有异曲同工之妙。

4.Thornfield Hall was again as hushed as a desert. 翻译过来就是“如沙漠般沉静”，是一个很优美的表达，大家以后写英文要描写一个地方很安静时可以用一下这样的表达。

Much ado about nothing 无事生非，这是莎士比亚的一个剧名

5.“积土为山，积水成海”怎么用英文表达出来呢？

A  mountain is formed by accumulation of earth and an ocean is formed by accumulation of water.
