However, many people receive these treatment under coercion. Some people chose suicide after the treatment, and others lied about the effect of the treatment, while there was no one case of success. The hospital who did the treatment was sued with such little punishment that there was no deterrent effect. Doctors should pursuade the family there's nothing wrong with being gay, which means that it will drive away business. The public hospitals in China are money-grubbing so that they feel loth to do that.
