Fake it until you make it.

1. Start Copying 从模仿开始

Start copying what you love. Copy copy copy copy. At the end of the copy you will find your self.

模仿创作的必经之路，大师也不例外，模仿不是剽窃，是练习，模仿一切你喜欢的东西。

继续拿大师莫奈来举例子：

他不是有两个偶像吗？一个是J.M.W.Turner 透纳，另一个是John Constable，这两个人一辈子都在互相较劲，竞争。但是这两了性格和画风迥异的人却都有一个共同的男神，那就是克劳德·洛兰。透纳临摹洛兰的画，Constable同样临洛兰的画。

2. firstly, you have to figure out who to copy.

如何开启模仿之路？首先要找到你喜欢的人，找到你希望成为的那些人，那些给你激情。

3. figure out what to copy

第二步，figure out what to copy?模仿什么？

Don’t just steal the style, steal the thinking behind the style. 

不能模仿形式，应该找到作品背后的逻辑，思想。

4. 切记！不要只模仿一个人，否则你只能是下一他。要从众多偶像中学习，才能走上原创之路。

If you copy from one author, it’s plagiarism, but if you copy from many, it’s research.

If you have one person you’re influenced by, everyone will say you’re the next whoever. But if you rip off a hundred people, everyone will say you’re so original.

个人心得：

最近找了很多插画师，疯狂看图中，从临摹开始。

这一周开始临摹我喜欢的插画师ryo takemasa的画，实在太喜欢他的纹理和塑性能力。用一到两个月的时间去临摹。然后再到下一个偶像。

除了画画，其它的技能也是同样的路数，音乐、写作、学英语、打球、等等等。
