A: Here's an analogy, learning a foreign language islike learning how to play the piano, which requires tremendous practice.It's really a time-consumingand painstaking job.打个比方，学习一门外语就像学习弹钢琴，需要大量的练习。这真是一项费时费力的活儿。
B:Yeah. we have to stay patient and persistent.
是的，我们必须保持耐心和持之以恒。

1449-gain popularity-受欢迎
A: China's animated movie Nezha has gainedworldwide popularity.中国动画电影《哪吒》在世界范围内广受欢迎。
B: Yeah, it's incredible indeed, really worth seeing是啊，确实不可思议，真的值得一看。
(animate把...制作成动画;worldwide世界范围的;popularity流行;普及:受欢迎)

1450-excellent eloquence-口才一流
A: l'm shy about talking to people, you know, howwish could talk as well as the ones with excellent eloquence.和人说话我很害羞，你知道，我多么希望能像口才好的人一样口若悬河。
B: lt's no use admiring only, you need to practice as much as you can.光羡慕是没有用的，你需要尽可能多地练习。
(be shy about doing sth.做某事很害羞;eloquence口才,雄辩;It's no use doing sth.做某事是没有用的)

1451-Don't exaggerate.-别添油加醋。别太夸张。
A: You're twenty minutes late, we've been expecting you for such a long time. You know, punctuality matters alot.你迟到了二十分钟，我们等你很久了。你知道，守时很重要。
B: Sorry for my being late, but don't exaggerate,l was only two minutes late, not twenty.对不起，我迟到了，不过别太夸张，我只迟到了两分钟，不是二十分钟。
(expect sb.等待某人的到来;punctuality守时;exaggerate夸大,言过其实)

1452-| have a proposition.-我有个提议。
A: l have a proposition, why don't we change ourwork time from 9:00~6:00p.m.to 8:00~5:00p.m.?If so,  believe we'l be able to gain much moreflexibility and avoid the rush hour.我有个建议，我们何不把上班时间从9点到6点，改为8点到5点。如果是这样的话，我相信我们将获得更大的灵活性，并避免高峰时段。
B: Sounds good, but l think we need to have adiscussion at ameeting.听起来不错，但我想我们需要在会议上讨论一下(proposition主张,观点,提议;flexibility灵活性;rush hou高峰时段)
