安装ubuntu11.04过程中遇到的问题

最近由装系统引发的一些问题折腾了一阵子。

先是电脑被他人重装XP时的失误，将硬盘重新分成四个分区，致使我保存多年的珍贵资源险些丢失，特别是珍藏多年的近万张相片。不幸中 万幸是easyrecovery很给力，面来把大多数东西找了回来。

随后是因为自己的不小心，把几个逻辑分区给删了。因为以前自己都没遇上这种问题，于是在网上瞎抓了一把软件来用，最终发现是“易我分区医生”能比较简单快捷的解决分区修复的问题。

仅记于此，以备忘。

 

在安装ubuntu11.04过程中，遇上了几个问题，后来找相关的资料把问题解决了（也许不最好的办法），也记在下面，仅备忘之用。

1、“Could not initialize the package information
An unresolvable problem occurred while initializing the package information.
Please report this bug against the 'update-manager' package and include the following error message:……”

解决方法：

1)、sudo  rm /var/lib/apt/lists/* -f

2)、sudo apt-get update

 

2、调整屏幕分辨率

我的显示器是21.5的，使用1920x1080比较合适。但在GUI环境下去改Monitor Preferences的Resolution，最大只能改成1024x768的分辨率。因此得使用CVT命令生成xorg.conf来调整分辨率。步骤如下：

cvt 1920 1080

执行上面命令，输出：

# 1920x1080 59.96 Hz (CVT 2.07M9) hsync: 67.16 kHz; pclk: 173.00 MHz
Modeline "1920x1080_60.00"  173.00  1920 2048 2248 2576  1080 1083 1088 1120 -hsync +vsync

用gedit在/etc/X11/目录下打开或创建xorg.conf

gedit /etc/X11/xorg.conf

保存以下内容：

    Section "Monitor"  
    Identifier "Configured Monitor"  
    Modeline "1920x1080_60.00"  173.00  1920 2048 2248 2576  1080 1083 1088 1120 -hsync +vsync  
    Option "PreferredMode" "1920x1080_60.00"  
    EndSection  
      
    Section "Screen"  
    Identifier "Default Screen"  
    Monitor "Configured Monitor"  
    Device "Configured Video Device"  
    EndSection  
      
    Section "Device"  
    Identifier "Configured Video Device"  
    EndSection

重启系统即可。

 

3、ADSL 上网自动掉线

这个问题很烦人。解决方法是修改/etc/ppp/options中的lcp-echo-interval和lcp-echo-failure这两个变量的值来解决问题的。它们两个的默认值分别是30和4，表示系统每隔30秒会向ADSL服务器发出echo request以确认连线是否正常。如果ADSL服务器120秒都没有回应，系统就会认为连线有问题，自动断开。因此把这两个值设置大一点，我的是60和30。然后是使用pppoeconf命令拨号上网。步骤是：

sudo ifconfig eth0 up

sudo pppoeconf

……

全是YES，一路回车，输入ISP提供的用户名和密码

……

启动ADSL连接

sudo pon dsl-provider

重启网络服务

sudo service network-manager restart

结束

 

4、安装极品五笔

sudo wget http://www.xiit.cn/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/vissible-ibus.tar.gz
tar -zxvf vissible-ibus.tar.gz
sudo cp vissible.db /usr/share/ibus-table/tables
sudo cp vissible.gif /usr/share/ibus-table/icons

然后加入极品五笔输入法：

system ->preferences ->keyboad input methods ->input method 然后选择Chinese -vissible就行了。
