repository manager encountered an improper argumen

in PowerCenter 9.0.1, do the following:

  1. Click Start > Run > Regedit.

  2. Open HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > Informatica > PowerMart Client Tools > 9.0.1 (Right-click > Export)
    Note: This is for backup.

  3. Open HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > Informatica > PowerMart Client Tools > 9.0.1 > Repository Manager Options > Toolbars 9.0.1 > delete all the entries under this (For example, State-Bar0).

  4. Restart the Machine.

  5. After restart, open the Repository Manager.

To resolve this issue in 9.1.0, do the following:

  1. Click Start > Run > Regedit.

  2. Open HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > Informatica > PowerMart Client Tools > 9.1.0 (Right-click > Export)
    Note: This is for backup.

  3. Open HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > Informatica > PowerMart Client Tools > 9.1.0 > Repository Manager Options > Toolbars 9.1.0 > delete all the entries under this (For example, State-Bar0).

  4. Restart the Machine.

  5. After restart, open the Repository Manager.

To resolve this issue in 9.5.1, do the following:

  1. Click Start > Run > Regedit.

  2. Open HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > Informatica > PowerMart Client Tools > 9.5.1 (Right-click > Export)
    Note: This is for backup.

  3. Open HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > Informatica > PowerMart Client Tools > 9.5.1 > Repository Manager Options > Toolbars 9.5.0 > delete all the entries under this (For example, State-Bar0).

  4. Restart the machine.

  5. After restart, open the Repository Manager.
