The security perimeter

The organizations defense attact were largely focus on network perimeter before.

After the web application arising, the perimeter firewall allow inbound  connections  to server

over http or https . And for the application to functions, the server must be allowed to connect

to support back-end system, such datebase, financial , mainframe and all.

These system lie at the core of the organization`s oprerations and reside behide several layer of

network-level defense.
